Privacy Policy

Effective: July 2026 · Conclave is operated by AVYX Labs LLC. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. Questions: hello@conclaveclub.app.

1. What we collect

You provide: name, email, professional profile (role, company, scenes, what you're looking for and can help with, optional LinkedIn, optional resume), messages you send, intro requests and responses, event RSVPs, and reports you file. Automatically: basic technical and usage data needed to operate and secure the service (device type, timestamps, logs). We do not collect phone numbers, contacts, precise location, or advertising identifiers, and we do not use tracking for ads.

2. How we use it

To operate the service: matching and introductions, messaging, scheduling, event discovery, and notifications. To power AI features: profile text and relevant conversation context are processed by our AI provider to draft messages and suggestions you review before sending. To keep the community safe: enforcing our Terms, investigating reports, preventing abuse. To communicate: transactional emails (e.g., an intro received or accepted) — switchable in the app. We do not sell your personal information and do not show third-party advertising.

3. Who can see what

Your profile (name, photo, role, professional details) is visible to members. Your messages are visible only to the participants of that conversation, enforced at the database layer. Your connections are private to you. Event RSVPs are visible to members by design. Your email is never shown to other members.

4. Operator access — an honest note

Conversations are encrypted in transit and at rest, but not end-to-end encrypted: like most professional platforms, authorized operators can access data when required to run the service, investigate abuse reports, or comply with law. We access private content only for those reasons.

5. Service providers

We use a small set of processors to run Conclave: Supabase (database, authentication, hosting), Resend (transactional email), Anthropic (AI processing), and Cloudflare (web hosting). Each receives only what is necessary to perform its function and is bound by its own contractual and privacy commitments. Your data may be processed in the United States.

6. Retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. Deleting your account (You → Delete account) permanently removes your profile, connections, messages, and requests. Some minimal records (e.g., abuse reports, legal holds) may be retained where required. Backups purge on their rotation schedule.

7. Your rights

You may access and update your profile in the app, export or request a copy of your data, correct inaccuracies, and delete your account at any time. Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), you may have additional rights — contact us and we will honor applicable requests. We do not discriminate for exercising them.

8. Security

TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest, row-level access controls on every table, passwordless one-time-code authentication, and least-privilege keys. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach materially affects you, we will notify you as required by law.

9. Age

Conclave is for professionals 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; if we learn we have, we will delete it.

10. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be announced in the app or by email, with the effective date above. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
